The Royal Yeomanry Regiment
Monday 5th November 2018
Today, as part of our week to mark the centenary of the First World War members of The Royal Yeomanry Regiment came into school to do training activities with the children. This included an assault course, a lane observation challenge where the children had to spot items hidden amongst the trees and looking at and trying on army kit and trying the camouflage paint on. The children really enjoyed trying all the activities and had a great time. During the day they also learnt about aspects of the First World War and the importance of remembering the brave men and women from that time.
